  1. Due to the youthclub closing last year we now have a requirement to sell our pool table and table football. POOL TABLE The pool table is a 5ft pub style one with money slot, although this would need some attention if you wanted to get it working. Overall condition is good and would be great for another youth club in the area. Listed on Ebay here - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271165671542?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 SOLD TABLE FOOTBALL The table football is a very study pub style one, again with money slot that would need attention to get it working. If you don't require the pay feature then its OK. Overall condition is good and would be great for another organision/club or may make a great addition to any batchelor pad! 2. We had 10 take part in the Speed Cage in Weston Rhyn, and a few of the Weston Rhyn Football club had a go too :) , but we only had 3 come to the fencing coaching :( . (Although we also had 3 who came late to have a look) Its a shame more didnt come to the fencing, it was a really great opportunity to have a go at something they would probably never get a chance to.
  3. Just a quick update to let you know that Weston Rhyn Youthclub will be NOT be open on its normal Thursday night session in the Institute during August. Don't worry though, there are loads of activities to do with the 3PYA (of which we are a member). They are all show here
  4. All sorted now, and thanks to Weston Rhyn Football Club for letting use the electricity :)
  5. Anyone know who looks after or can get access to the pavillion on "The Rec". We need a favour pretty urgently. Thanks,
  6. This Thursday's 3PYA Activity is with Weston Rhyn Youthclub and Steve Lalley from Ball Sports Community Coaching. All Welcome and its FREE to join in :)
  7. Will be interesting to hear what these projects become, and how we can involve the youth in the area.
  8. I made inquiries into the use of the Sunday School and haven't really got anywhere..... promises of asking other people and trustees etc. but no real reply. I was pretty much informed that is exclusively for christian use only...... which in itself doesn't seem very christian. Weston Rhyn Youthclub has an open to all policy.
  9. I am sure some of our members would be interested. We run the club from the Institute so a link with them would work very well. There is also The Crew which I believe still use the Institute. The "garden" at the institute is pretty overgrown at the moment. Sure its full of wildlife.... just looks a bit.... wild.
  10. Big Hello from Weston Rhyn Youthclub! :)

  12. Keith, we were at a meeting tonight with members of St.Martins youthclub. Would you be interested in helping out? Even if it would just be now and again.
  13. St.Martins has one of the most popular Youth Clubs in the area, run by some very dedicated volunteers.
  14. Yeah, I think we probably had around 60 people and raised £220 for the club. It's great to see people turn out and show there support, :)
  15. Here are the answers, also there are a couple of photos posted in the gallery Shropshire Quiz Answers.pdf
  16. Weston Rhyn Youthclub would like to that everyone that supported the Victorian Tea, either lending a hand in the kitchen, baking cakes, donating raffle prizes or attending on the day. It was great to see so many faces. :) We will be posting the winner and the answers to the quiz very soon, so keep an eye on the forums. If you are interested all of the information for the quiz was taken from the book "It happened in Shropshire"
