We have a brilliant facility - the swimming pool- USE IT. We are offering swimming sessions for age 10+ every afternoon this week and next (not Monday) for £2 each. I know the school site is in a mess but come round the back and park on the tennis courts. Please encourage young people and adults to come along. We will organise sessions in future school holidays if they are needed BUT it looks like no one wants them! :(

All activities are aimed at young people age 10 years + and each session costs £2. The St Martins Centre is organising a family event for the evening of Saturday July 13th - more details soon. :) The 3 Parishes Youth Association are hoping to organise some activitities in August, hopefully to included swimming sessions. :D

3PYA are organising events in August for our young people. Hopefully, there will be swimming sessions at RPS pool, activities at both RPS Leisure Centre and The St Martins Centre and tennis in Gobowen. Dates will probably be August 20th - 23rd, August 27th - 30th. Activities might include Kite making/flying, Graffiti art, music. Looking for anyone who could help staff or even run an activity. It has indeed been supported by the Local Joint Committee as well as countless volunteered hours from the likes of suescho, suenick, leebarnfield, Julie Ruler, gwyneth1210 and WR Youthclub to name just just a few.

The Three Parish Youth Association, or 3PYA for short was setup in 2010 by the youth groups in St.Martins, Weston Rhyn and Gobowen. The concept was to share resources, ideas, knowledge and expertise across the area to support the youth and the future of our communities. We meet every few months to discuss pretty much all things youth related in the area, and we also organise events spanning the three parishes as well as promote youth events organised by others. The group is open to all people who are involved in youth organisations in the area and our next meeting is on the 5th March at 7.30pm at the St.Martins Centre. If you are interested in joining the 3PYA, or are just interested in what we are doing and want to be on our email circulation list please get in touch. We have completed our program of Summer activities for youth in the area and have loads of things to do over the weeks ahead. From skate boarding to geocaching and football coaching to raft making. It all starts this week with a skate boarding and BMX demonstration in St.Martins on Wednesday. All the events are posted in the calendar, we will post up a downloadable events list to print out to make sure you don't miss any of the activities as well as consent forms for the trips very soon so keep an eye out for those.
