  6. It's been nearly 7 weeks since the new Community Online forum was launched and we have recently seen the 50th member join. So we thought it was time to update a few stats.... 52 members 179 posts 33 facebook followers 28 twitter followers Topics have been read an amazing 28000 times! A big thanks to all of our members and followers, don't forget you can still enter our little competition for a free Community Online mug. :D
  7. Just a thought, if you post under an alias, and want to keep your name anonymous then you can post using your alias and we will contact you later if you win to check what you want printed on the mug.
  8. You can get your very own Community Online mug for FREE, just like the one shown on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/communityonline1 and attached to this post. All you have to is post in this thread how you like your drink and this will be printed on the side of the mug along with your name, so that whoever makes you your favourite beverage always gets it right. We will then select 20 lucky members at random to win a free mug. The only rules are that you have to be local, you can only win one mug and the deadline for entries is midday Friday 2nd December.   16. craigemery...... maybe, just maybe, this forum will get like minded people together to organise some of the events you mention. It appears to me that there are a lot of people who say, I miss or I wish we had... and if they got together then we could put all these events back on.
  17. Weston Rhyn Institute's Annual Quiz Tickets £4 per person which buys you entry & light refreshments. Tickets are available from any committee member. Limited to 14 teams of 4, You can arrive with no team and we will place you in a team which has spare places. Prize money of £40 for winning team.

The new Community Online forum went online just over 2 weeks ago and so far the response has been good, here are a few numbers..... 32 members 66 posts 24 facebook followers 16 twitter followers Topics have been read over 2000 times. The next move for Community Online is to have a meeting with the team from Networked Neighbourhoods where various aspects of the project will be discussed to further improve the site for the members of your community. This meeting is open to anyone who would like to come along and have a say in the future of Community Online, your likes and dislikes and what you might like to see to improve the site. There will be two meetings; Tuesday 1st November at 7pm - Weston Rhyn Institute Wednesday 2nd November at 10am - St.Martins Centre The events are posted in the calendar, could you please RSVP so we have an idea of numbers, thanks and see you there :)

  24. Lantern Parade at the Ifton Meadows Nature Reserve. There will be a bonfire at the top of the hill as well a fire eater. All are welcome. Children of all ages are welcome to bring along their parents and carry a lantern to the top, it's a sight not to be missed.
