It only seems like yesterday that we were posting the 50 member milestone and now we have just hit 100 members! So here is an update to our stats.... 100 members 44 Facebook 'likes' 67 Twitter 'followers' 131 New Topics Posted 612 Total Posts Topics Viewed 90,056 times! There have been some really great things to come out of the Forums so far, new groups created, connections made and some interested topics posted and discussed. So to our 100 members.... a big thanks. See you in the Forums :)

St.Martins Youthclub is in the St.Martins centre next to Stans. It takes place on Friday's from 7.30 until 9.00

Did you know that Aqueduct was designed by Thomas Telford but the Viaduct was designed by Henry Robertson. It was built higher to show the dominance of the railways over the waterways.

Thought we could start a thread to see if we can find out some interesting facts from the area.....

Welcome to the Community Online forum Barry. Great to hear that the cub group is doing so well.

They will normally just post links to sites, with the dual goals of increasing search visibility in highly competitive areas such as weight loss, pharmaceuticals, gambling, real estate or loans, and generating more traffic for these commercial websites. Some of these links contain code to track the spambot's identity if a sale goes through, when the spammer behind the spambot works on commission. Links are not necessarily posted, they can be in the account profile or sit in the user's signature.

They are "spammers" trying to get an account. What you see is the account in the validation process and 95% of them don't make it through, the few that get through the validation process are captured by the forum software and immediately go into a Banned group. Rather than leave them in the banner list, they are being deleted almost immediately by Community Online. Sometimes these come through in the middle of the night, so are not deleted straight away. When you signed up to an account you went through a validation process, this it to try and prevent these spambots.

Just a quick news update to say to that Community Online will be available at the Weston Rhyn Youthclub Victorian Tea on Saturday 18th February. So if you have any questions or would like some advice this would be a great time to have a catch up. We will have a couple of computers there if people want a demonstration or need any help in signing up. Information about the Victorian Tea is in the calendar here.....

Carol, someone or indeed yourself could set up a profile for the Girl's Brigade then you can have your club info within the "about me" section. You can also then post activities, events etc relating to the group.
