Simple Simon 36 Report post Posted March 12, 2012 Work has begun on the new crossing in the village. There were traffic controls at the bottom on Old Whittington Road and Station Road. It's been suggested that the reason this is being done so quickly is that Shropshire Council of a surplus in the road maintainance budget following the mild winter and they need to spend the money before the end of the financial year.
