Maggie 65 Report post Posted March 2, 2012 According to a site called Clonehenge at http://replicahenge.wordpress.com, The stone circle in Temple Wood is the earliest replica of Stonehenge. The site documents over 70 other replica stonehenge's around the world. I thought that this was very interesting, yet again we lead the world! http://replicahenge.wordpress.com/2008/12/20/major-wests-stonehenge-built-c-1830/
Kerry 2 Report post Posted March 3, 2012 There must be a strong pagan link to the area in the past (most probably) as these stones were errected next to 'Temple Woods' Fascinating. I wonder if Mr. West was a follower or sympathiser of the 'old ways'?.
