Maggie 65 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 Well, I see from the Shroppie Star that HA are going to be doing a MileEnd on Gledrid roundabout, with night closures through to September. We were all wondering what the purpose was of the cones that have been there for some time. http://www.shropshirestar.com/news/2015/05/03/fury-at-three-month-overnight-closure-proposal-for-a5/ Expect chaos around the villages as drivers try to avoid the roundabout, and pray that the engineers have learnt from MileEnd that nice designs on paper don't necessarily transfer into the real world of incompetent drivers. Gardner 10 Report post Posted May 8, 2015 On the general subject of roundabouts, particularly the 3 exits ones such as in Oswestry at the top of Salop/Shrewsbury Road and on the Church Street/Smithfield Road junction: The rule is you give way to vehicles on the right, so who gives way to who?
