The council states that the current priorities are: Enhancement of Gobowen Village CentreExpansion of Hengoed CemeteryProvision of increased parking at Gobowen StationSafety improvements to the road junction of the B5009 and the A5Creation of a hub for small businesses through the provision of small office units in the parishImprovements to broadband speed and coverageTourism - Develop/maintain the existing tourism assets in the parish Watts Dyke, Hill Fort, Cambrian Railway, rights of way network to encourage visitors to the parish and boost the local economyImprovements to Gobowen playing field including the creation of paths and a trim trail (outdoor exercise equipment)Provision of Vehicle Activate Sign in ParishGobowen Pavilion - development of pavilionProvision of a designated sports field for the ParishProvision of additional open spaces / common land for informal recreation in GobowenImprovements to the Black footbridge to link with the new housing developments to the west of the railway lineImprovements to local employment opportunitiesImprovements to public transport including to the station before 7am, rural areas and Marches School and joined up bus and train times Any thoughts, comments, suggestions? I think things have moved on since the consultation, for a start we've all suffering from a double dip recission. Simple Simon 36 Report post Posted December 11, 2012 I'm looking at the leaflet now, and next to the priorties listed it says identified by, so in oder of the original list: 1: Big Local 2: Parish Council 3: Big Local and Parish Plan 4: Parish Council 5: Parish Plan 6: Parish Meetings 7: Parish Council 8: Future of Play 2010 9: Parish Meetings 10: Future of Play 2010 11: Future of Play 2010 12: Parish Plan 13: Parish Council 14: Parish Council ...so it's a right odd mix!
