Maggie 65 Report post Posted January 29, 2014 On Sunday Feb 2nd it is Imbolc, an old Celtic Festival to welcome the return of the sun, celebrated with snowdrops and candles. It is also known as Candlemas and St Brigids Day. At dawn the sun will rise from above the Wrekin from Old Oswestry so I am going up there to watch this.if anyone wants to join me.
