Community Online 65 Report post Posted November 5, 2012 The council is aware that there are a lot of people in the parish, who have worked hard and tirelessly and achieved much over many years. These unsung heroes have never been acknowledged for the time and effort they have put in. The Council has decided to recognise some of these people by awarding a certificate at the Annual Meeting of the Parish each year. We are asking you to nominate anyone who you consider deserves to be recognised for their work in the community; helping some-one; fund raising; running a club, etc. You can get a nomination form from the Clerk (ring 655385 or e mail clerksmpc@dsl.pipex.com) or by calling in at The St Martins Community Centre. (Serving Parish Councillors can not be nominated) All nominations will need to be with the clerk by December please. The award will be for 2012 and will be presented at the 2013 Annual Parish Meeting.(Provisional date Thursday 25th April) Parishioners will be able to vote for those nominated, further information will be in the Spring 2013 newsletter.
