Three Parishes Big Local - Community Chest grants approved.

There has been lots of interest in the Three Parishes Big Local Community Chest grants scheme since it was launched in September 2014.  So far, we have awarded 5 grants:

 

£250 to Good Companions, Weston Rhyn for a 'Loneliness in the Community' project

£500 to Gobowen Old Friends towards the cost of coach trips

£490 to Gobowen WI towards the cost of a jewellery making course

£496 to St John's Church towards tables and chairs for a Community Cafe

£500 to 2nd St Martins Scouts towards camping and archery equipment.

 

There are still grants of up to £500 available for Community groups, projects or activities within Gobowen, St Martins and Weston Rhyn.
