Parish Clerk 3 Report post Posted November 20, 2012 Last week there were a couple of nasty incidents that took place whilst meetings were being held in the pavilion. The small bags used to hold dog faeces was pulled out of the bin on St Martins Road and slung around the car park. A couple of the cars had the stuff smeared on their car windscreens (mine was damaged in this way) and someone also threw a bag into the pavilion whilst a training session for local first responder volunteers was being held. The problem started because the bin was not emptied when it usually is and the rubbish built up inside the bin, the bin is now empty and hopefully the problem should not happen again. The incidents have been reported to the police but if you are aware of anyone who was hanging around the pavillion on Mon, Tues and Wed, evenings of last week I would be grateful if you would ring 101 or let me know as these incidents were very unpleasant. A number of people have worked very hard over the last few years to make the pavilion a useful meeting place and I would hate for the actions of a small minority to put people off using the pavilion so if you do have any information that could be useful please let me or the police know. Gardner 10 Report post Posted November 21, 2012 This is an absolute disgrace! Has anyone else in the 3 villages noticed Shropshire Council litter bins not being emptied as regularly as they used to be just recently?
