Maggie 65 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 Here are Gareth Parry's wildlife events for August: Note habitat survey in Chirk Bank on August 15th. Dear all, Just a reminder about events coming up in the next 2-3 weeks. Full details are on the Your Natural Shropshire website, which you can get to using the link at the bottom of the email. Remember all events are free and refreshments are provided. Please circulate to anyone who you think might be interested. I would particularly advise coming to the Whixall ‘Magic of Moths’ event, when we ran it in Llanymynech a few weeks ago several hundred moths caught. Take a look at what we saw here http://themagicofmoths.com/. August 7th Ruyton XI Towns habitat survey (14:00-16:00pm) August 8th Vrynwy wildlife Walk (13:00-16:00pm) August 9th Newt trapping in Llanymynech (7:30am- 8:00am) August 9th The Magic of Moths in Whixall (18:30- midnight) August 11th Bees in the Hills (10-13:00) August 12th Marlot bioblitz (14:00-16:00pm) August 13th Llanymynech habitat survey (14:00-16:00pm) August 14th Llanymynech bat walk (14:00-16:00pm) August 15th Chirk bank habitat survey (14:00-16:00pm) Best wishes Gareth
