Simple Simon 36 Report post Posted May 1, 2012 I've been riding a suspension free mountain bike for some years now. It's fine to ride but slow and cumbersome, meaning it takes some time to get anywhere and prolonged gradients can cause problems. I'd like to have a go at going further, faster, so I'm looking at a bike (other than a hybrid) that will give me a good introduction to speed and the correct posture. leebarnfield 30 Report post Posted May 4, 2012 So you are after a road bike. I will keep an eye out for you. What sort of price you thinking?
Simple Simon 36 Report post Posted May 14, 2012 I'd go no higher than £200 as I've seen stuff in shops with little damage retailing below that because they were in a damaged batch. Really looking for a good introduction to road biking without spending too much at this early stage.
