A New U3A for Oswestry

Hi, I'm Sally Barrett, posting as A New U3A for Oswestry.

Retired? Semi-Retired? Free Time? Looking for new interests and friends, sharing your knowledge and learning something you’ve always promised you would try? Then the University of the Third Age might just be for you. It isn’t about formal classes but getting together to learn, share and enjoy things that interest you. We are a self-help organisation, dedicated to providing all types of educational and leisure activities for older people no longer in full-time employment, at a minimum cost. The main aim is to help members spend their time usefully and pleasurably in pursuing old and new interests with like-minded people and lending a hand to keep this self-organisation flourishing. Oswestry U3A is already well established, extremely popular, very successful and bursting at the seams. BECAUSE OF THIS A NEW U3A IS TO BE LAUNCHED.
